Seasonal Delicacies:
Early Summer (June–July): The shop is famous for selling fresh Murasaki Sea Urchin (Uni) still in the shell. You can buy it in bulk (around 3,000 yen per kilo) to take home, crack open, and make your own ultimate sea urchin rice bowls.
Other Seafood: Depending on the morning's catch, they routinely sell locally caught fish, scallops, and seasonal variants.
Strictly Seasonal & Weekend-Only: This is a seasonal operation that only opens during the warmer fishing months (typically late spring through autumn). It operates primarily on Saturdays and Sundays.
Ultimate Early Bird Schedule: True to a fisherman's schedule, it opens from 6:00 AM. Because everything relies on the morning's catch and local demand is high, the best items (especially the sea urchin) often sell out completely by mid-morning.
Come Prepared: The shop is cash-only. If you plan to buy seafood to take home or back to the nearby Gokibiru Beach Campground, it is highly recommended to bring your own cooler box and ice.
