Sapporo Factory is a commercial facility including restaurants, a movie theater, hotel and more. The approximately 15-meter Jumbo Christmas Tree, a classic part of the winter season in Sapporo, is a Sakhalin fir that is brought from Hiroo-cho in Tokachi and installed in the atrium for around two months from November. It is lit up from 4pm to 10pm with colorful ornaments and sparkling lights. An approximately five-minute music and light show also takes place once every hour, allowing visitors to enjoy dining inside while viewing the Christmas tree. Also make sure to view the large Santa Claus climbing up the chimney of the Sapporo Kaitakushi Beer Brewery located on the premises!
