Sapporo, Odori Park: TV Tower Countdown Party

The Sapporo TV Tower was built in 1956. It is located on the eastern side of Odori Park, which divides central Sapporo into northern and southern zones. You can find the Sapporo Archives Museum (The Former Sapporo Court of Appeals) on the other side of the park.

Note: They sometimes don't do an actual countdown on the clock like in 2023. Most people go straight home after the countdown ends. In 2024, they didn't extend the time for the subway trains either which was a bit disappointing.
