The penguin parade event usually starts in December (2023/12/23) depending on snow cover and is held twice daily -- at 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. -- but usually only once at day at 11am in March until around mid-March when the snow melts from the ground. The penguins can only do the parade if there is snow.
The Asahiyama Zoo is a municipal zoo opened in July 1967 in Asahikawa, Hokkaidō, Japan, and is the northernmost zoo in the country. In August 2004, over 320,000 people visited the zoo, the second highest number of visitors among all the zoos in Japan. Wikipedia

I plan to visit the penguin parade on the 1st of March, 2024.
What’s the schedule?
Thank you.
Thanks for the question. I called the zoo and checked. They said the penguin parade is held twice a day — at 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. — until around mid-March when the snow melts.
I called the zoo again today and they said only at 11am in March.
