Asahiyama Zoo Penguin Walk Schedule 2026
The penguin parade event usually starts in December (around the 2nd week) depending on snow cover and is held twice daily -- at 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. -- but usually only once at day at 11am in March until around mid-March when the snow melts from the ground. The penguins can only do the parade if there is snow. The best spot to view the penguins is near the turning point.

I plan to visit the penguin parade on the 1st of March, 2024.
What’s the schedule?
Thank you.
Thanks for the question. I called the zoo and checked. They said the penguin parade is held twice a day — at 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. — until around mid-March when the snow melts.
I called the zoo again today and they said only at 11am in March.
