"Sapporo August Festival 2023 is finally happening this weekend! 🏮

🆕 Sapporo August Festival Special Big Band Live Session! For the first time, there will be a live session by the renowned musician Yoshihide Otomo and the members of the Sapporo August Festival Special Big Band, performing songs other than traditional Bon Odori music. The performance promises to be a delightful surprise!

Date and Time: July 29th (Saturday) from 14:30 to 15:00 (approximately 30 minutes)

🆕 "Bondorin" with New Members. Now a Group of Six! On the stage and yagura, leading the dance with exemplary moves, we have the "Bondorin," the official Bon Odori team formed in 2018. This year, we welcome two male members, and together as a team of six, they will bring excitement to the festival! New Members: Kikuzo and Kudo Chihiro

🎷 Making a Comeback After 4 Years! Orchestra SAPPORO! Gather anything that makes sound, join the impromptu orchestra conducted by the musician Yoshihide Otomo. You don't need conventional instruments to participate. Your participation is highly anticipated!

Reception at the Sapporo August Festival operation headquarters tent set up inside Akapla. No prior reservation required. Please read the participation conditions carefully and join us on the day.
