Try traditional Ainu food as well as local cuisine at the restaurant/cafe Poronno. Yukku Don, is recommended if you would like to try the tender venison. The venison and salmon are the main ingredients used in Ainu cuisine. If you are looking for something a little unusual, try the Mari Mojito. It’s a drink made to look like the lake with Akan’s famous Marimo.
